The Warrior Community seeks a full time remote faculty member for the College of Arts & Sciences. This is a non-tenure 12-month remote position teaching in online course delivery. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, professional development, curriculum development, student advising, assistance with hiring and training of online faculty, and service to the College of Arts & Sciences.

The position includes teaching 12 six-week online accelerated courses per calendar year as assigned by the Dean in collaboration with Operations, advising and fostering relationships with online students and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the Institutions Strategic Plan. Additional duties include monitoring online courses for quality and providing timely feedback to instructors, assisting with the hiring and training of online instructors, designing and revising program curriculum, delivering effective online courses to meet program learning outcomes, holding office hours, fulfilling service and professional development requirements, and actively participating in student recruitment and retention.

The successful candidate will work closely with other programs in the College of Arts & Sciences and with the Director of Online Learning. This faculty position reports to the Dean of Online Learning.

The preferred faculty member will hold an earned doctorate in a closely related field. A Masters degree Psychology from a regionally accredited institution is required. Five years of successful online college-level teaching experience is required. Demonstration of the ability to work with a diverse student population, and demonstration of developing effective relationships with students that prepare students for academic and career success are necessary. Applicants should be able to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching. Experience teaching with a Learning Management System, preferably Blackboard is required, experience teaching adult learners is required, it is preferred that the experience is related to an accelerated learning program, and experience with Quality Matters, including completed workshops and/or certifications is highly preferred.
