The successful candidate will be expected to teach 12 credits of undergraduate and post graduate TV production courses per semester (Semester A and Semester B). In addition to teaching and developing new curricula, the candidate will be expected to supervise students in running the City Television (CTV) news, an online broadcaster run by students of the Department, and advise TV studio projects. S/he is expected to engage in departmental and university-wide service, and nurture contacts with media professionals in the media industry.Requirements
The appointment is to be held by distinguished professionals who have demonstrated excellence in the practice over many years, and leadership in their fields. They might have been, for example, CEOs/President/VP of major media companies, renowned TV producers, or highly experienced and accomplished professionals in the field of media and communication.
The appointees should be degree holders with significant professional expertise. They are expected to possess a terminal degree with respect to their fields and, through distinguished performance in their profession over many years, be recognized as prominent expert professionals.Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.Information and Application
