Subject AreaThe subject area for the position is mathematical statistics applied to forest sciences.
DutiesThe research shall comprise both basic and applied questions within the subject area. It must include method development in mathematical statistics and adaptation of existing statistical methods and analysis tools for forestry applications and questions that can contribute to new knowledge in forestry and other sciences. The research must take place in the interaction between the subject of statistics and subject areas within forest science.
Furthermore, the employee shall within the subject area for the position:
Non Swedish-speaking staff members are expected to, within four years of first being employed, have sufficient knowledge of Swedish/Scandinavian to understand information in Swedish.
