As the Procurement Assistant you will be supporting the University with the efficient purchasing and tendering across a wide range of categories to support student outcomes. You will play an important role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of these projects within tight timetables, providing accurate information for sound decision-making with reduced risks and not compromising quality.

The University has an ambitious strategy including delivering enhancements to our systems and estate and you will be making a real difference.

You will be working in a supporting environment offering variety, interest and opportunities to enhance your development in the Procurement profession.

We are seeking someone with experience of working with contractors, suppliers and consultants and a wide range of clients. You will also be experience in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT systems supporting Procurement. Training on Oracle and Delta e-sourcing will be provided.
