  • About Us

eSolutions and Student Services leads the provision and delivery of IT solutions and student services to the Monash University community across domestic and international campuses and entities. As leaders in innovation, we recognised the value of bringing together the IT and student services functions to combine technological, cultural and service reform to continuously evolve and support the student journey and experience for our staff, students, researchers and alumni.

This role will be a part of the Data Engineer Services (DES) domain within eSolutions. We provide data engineering, analytics and integration solutions through the University's data integration platform, MuleSoft CloudHub and the Enterprise Data Services (EDS) Lake House platform. Your duties will include:

  • Understand data management and recommend best practices
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of QA processes
  • Work with a range of internal staff including Product Owners and the senior DES domain leadership team to deliver prioritised outcomes
  • Quality standards and procedures in the end-to-end delivery process, including defining Quality Assurance strategies, planning and execution
  • Coach and mentor junior QA staff with a focus on driving efficiencies and standardisation of processes
  • About YOU!

We acknowledge that not meeting all the criteria can be a bit daunting so you may be tempted to rethink applying. DON'T! We love people who can learn with the right foundation skills so if you aren't sure whether this is the right role for you, we encourage you to still apply!

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have experience in a senior level role where you have interpreted QA needs and produced comprehensive Quality management strategies. Demonstrated knowledge in data management principles is key to this role. The ability to lead and motivate a high performing team, proactively recommend data quality practices, and work in a cross functional environment is important.
