This is an exciting time to join the Practice Learning Hub as we build towards our future vision. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised individual into our placement co-ordination team.

This full-time post based in the School of Health and Social Care is a pivotal role within the Practice Learning Hub. The successful candidate will lead a programme of work to secure and develop high-quality practice-based learning opportunities in line with regulatory requirements across our Social Work portfolio, and with our other Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health programmes.

Excellent communication and organisation skills are key; the post holder will be expected to build strong working relationships with practice partners, within the team, with students and academics. The right candidate will be familiar with the regulatory requirements of our programmes, especially those from Social Work England (SWE), the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We are looking for someone who is able to learn quickly and work with our systems and our people. You will need to have high levels of initiative, to be able to work independently as well as part of our team, developing creative solutions and driving up quality. The role is fast paced and exciting - not for the faint hearted!
