Peterborough. ARU Peterborough, with long term investments approaching £100
million and delivered in partnership with the Mayoral Authority of
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and Peterborough City Council, will provide
transformational and inclusive higher education for the city and region. We
have ambitious aims to build a wide portfolio of courses attracting 12,500
students by 2030.

About the role:
ARU has delivered courses from Peterborough for many years and our existing
provision includes the BA(Hons) Social Work. More recently we have expanded
our portfolio to include a Degree Apprenticeship. We have moved this provision
to brand new, state of the art facilities on the new campus and have the
intention to expand in the area of social work.
As part of this exciting project, we are seeking an experienced Social Work
practitioner to join colleagues in our Social Work department and further
develop our undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD provision. You'll lead
delivery of the practice modules, support general module delivery, develop
placement opportunities and maintain your currency of practice to inform
course and module development.
With extensive experience of practice and academia, we are looking for a team
player who will be able to work to tight deadlines, working independently with
minimum supervision and liaising closely with senior colleagues from our
partners and key stakeholders.
