ARU is recognised both nationally and internationally as an innovative, inclusive and entrepreneurial university. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England. We have ambitious plans for the future, with a reputation for partnership working with employers across the talent, skills, innovation and business support spectrum. ARU Peterborough, with long term investments approaching £100 million and delivered in partnership with the Mayoral Authority of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and Peterborough City Council, will provide transformational and inclusive higher education for the city and region. About the role:

ARU has delivered courses from Peterborough for many years and our existing provision includes the BA(Hons) Social Work. More recently we have expanded our portfolio to include a Degree Apprenticeship. We have moved this provision to brand new, state of the art facilities on the new campus and have the intention to expand in the area of social work.

As part of this exciting project, we are seeking an experienced Social Work practitioner to join colleagues in our Social Work department and further develop our undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD provision. You'll lead delivery of the practice modules, support general module delivery, develop placement opportunities and maintain your currency of practice to inform course and module development.

With extensive experience of practice and academia, we are looking for a team player who will be able to work to tight deadlines, working independently with minimum supervision and liaising closely with senior colleagues from our partners and key stakeholders.

Informal enquiries can be made to Esther Norton, Assistant Principal, esther.norton@aru.ac.uk
