Practice Education Coordinator, BSC Speech & Language Therapy, Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences
Specific Purpose Part Time Post (0.5 FTE)
(anticipated duration 12 months)
Applications are invited for an experienced and enthusiastic SLT to the post of Practice Education Coordinator, UCC. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing and developing clinical placements and tutoring students on the 4-year BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy. As well as being an experienced SLT, the appointee will have an interest in teaching and research and experience in supervising students. The successful candidate will have a clinical qualification in SLT.
The BSc SLT is located in the School of Clinical Therapies. Over the past 10 years, the School has developed a range of clinical programmes at both undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. In addition, the School has a growing suite of Continuing Professional Development modules supporting life-long learning.

Appointment may be made on the HSE Speech & Language Therapist Salary Scale (pro-rata): €57,450 - €67,645
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy .
