Position Overview
Working with extension specialists and other extension faculty, the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Coordinator will organize outreach activities, such as field days and IPM workshops, for statewide Extension programs related to potato and seed potato production. In collaboration with University of Idaho Extension faculty and other partners, this position will develop an IPM curriculum for potato and seed potato production. These efforts are primarily focused on bridging gaps in arthropod, weed and disease management training that occurred because of the COVID19 pandemic. This position is based at the University of Idaho – Idaho Falls Research & Extension Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
