Offer Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher located in Rome. The Postdoctoral Researcher will lead and participate in a research project related to energy harvesting using flow induced vibrations from microdevices. The Postdoctoral Researcher will also collaborate with other researchers and institutions, present research findings at conferences and other events, and publish research papers in scientific journals.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related field

Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills Strong experimental background in flow diagnostic tools (PIV, LDV, holography, etc)

Excellent knowledge of scientific languages (C, Python, etc), and data analysis tools

Experience in conducting and leading research projects, writing research papers, and presenting findings at conferences

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
