Together with university partners at seven renowned partner sites, we have established the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK). At the partner site of DKTK Berlin the German Cancer Research Center is offering a postdoc position for resistance mechanisms in colorectal cancer.
Job description:
The offered position is part of a collaboration between the research group “Molecular Pathology” at the Institute of Pathology (Charité Campus Mitte) and the Department of Hematology and Oncology (Charité Campus Mitte). The project´s aim is centered on the functional understanding of molecular processes that drive resistance to novel clinical KRAS inhibitors in cancer. We employ genomic and imaging-based assays to decipher the adaptation and resistance of tumors from patients that developed a resistance to KRAS inhibition.
