The chair in Law and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Law at the University of Tübingen, funded by the Carl Zeiss Foundation and held by Prof. Dr. Michèle Finck, LL.M., conducts research on legal issues related to artificial intelligence, especially regarding data law and governance. There is currently one vacancy for a

postdoctoral researcher in EU data law (m/f/d)

The position is full-time and for a period of two years. Remuneration is in accordance with the E 13 TV-L collective agreement.

The postdoctoral researcher's duties include actively engaging in independent research and to support the chair's activities. Prerequisites are a doctoral degree in EU data (protection) law. Doctoral candidates close to completion are also invited to apply provided they can submit a timeline for completion and a supporting letter from their PhD supervisor(s). Experience with interdisciplinary research constitutes an advantage.
