Job Description
Within the Micro & Nano Systems (MNS) Centre at Tyndall, one of our core strengths is development and integration of materials, devices and systems for smart sensing. As part of the SFI-funded CONFIRM Centre for Smart Manufacturing, the Nanotechnology (NTG) group at Tyndall is leading a project for direct-write integration of sensor elements in plastic components, with a particular focus on compostable sensors. This project will leverage our core strengths in integration of nanomaterials and laser fabrication of graphene-like carbon.

This is a fulltime Postdoctoral Researcher opportunity in University College Cork for 9 months.
Appointment may be made on the IUA Researcher Scale €41,207 - €47,477 per annum. Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
