Essential Job Duties
This postdoc position is expected to: a) conduct cutting edge research and
development on ultrasound transducer deveice development and applications; b)
help manage the lab, supervise graduate and undergraduate students; and c)
write technical papers and assist technical proposal writing.
Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM; Hours may vary 26 weeks total
Department Required Skills
The position requires fundamental understanding and competent experimental
skills of ultrasound device development, ultrasound therapy and drug delivery,
and ultrasound imaging. Strong hands-on experiences on transducer array
design, fabrication and characterization, and ultrasound therapy are desired.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
A PhD degree in Physics, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Electrical Engineering,
with ultrasound transducer experience would fit very well.
