About This Opportunity
This new position will support the continued development of ‘the early years'
program of research translation within the School and will be part of a
recently funded project which will to use co-design to create a digital
repository of resources to support early childhood workers, parents, carers
and families in food and nutrition via an open access digital platform. This
body of work is designed to help parents and care givers create a supportive
food and feeding environments for children under the age of 5 years.
This position will be involved with co-design with families from various
backgrounds including those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse
communities and from disadvantaged backgrounds to generate appropriate digital
assets which will be housed and disseminated via an interactive web-based

Our Ideal Candidate
To be successful, you will have or be nearing completion of your PhD and
looking for an opportunity to grow your skills and experience in a dynamic new
team with the remit to improve the health of young children in the first 2000
days of their life. You may have experience in using digital technologies, co-
design and/or qualitative data collection and interpretation. Experience in
engaging with culturally and linguistically diverse groups or disadvantaged
groups will be advantageous and you will be able to demonstrate excellent
communication and facilitation skills.
The incumbent does not necessarily require a high level knowledge in the
discipline area of paediatric nutrition as they will be supported and guided
by more senior academic staff. It is expected that an increasing degree of
autonomy will be developed over time.
It is a condition of employment for this role that you will be required to

This is a full-time, fixed term position for 12 months at Academic level A.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $70,729 - $92,782,
plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $82,752 -
