About the Role
The role involves leading the completion of the research project - ‘Racism in
acute inpatient mental health wards'; undertaking primary qualitative data
collection and secondary analysis of quantitative data; and disseminating the

environmental aspects of public mental health research, as well as health
services research to improve the care of patients. We are one of the three
Centres within the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine, an
internationally recognised centre for research and teaching and a part of
Queen Mary's medical faculty, Barts and The London School of Medicine and
Dentistry. The Institute identifies the causes and methods of prevention of
health conditions that lead to poor quality of life and premature death.

(0.8FTE) fixed term appointment for 12 months. The starting salary will be
Grade 4, in the range of £34,220 - £38,084 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive
of London Allowance.
