About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our prestigious School of Psychology to support an ARC funded project focused on interracial contact and the hidden costs to relying on contact in reducing racism.
Key responsibilities will include:
Research: Develop research programs, collaborate on research projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals and utilize best practice research methodologies.
Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, manage research support staff, provide performance feedback and training and resolve conflicts.
Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, engage in internal service activities, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.

About You
Completion or near completion of a PhD in social psychology.
An emerging profile in research in social psychology.
Expertise in R, large language models and longitudinal modelling.
Experience in online and in person study design and data collection.
Experience and knowledge of experience sampling methodology.
Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.
Evidence of contributions towards successfully obtaining external research funding.
Some experience in meaningful internal service roles and contributions towards external activities.
