  • About the Role A Postdoctoral Research Fellow is being sought to join a project funded by the Australian Research Council. Working alongside Professor Anthony McCosker at the Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision Making and Society (ADM+S) you will be contributing primarily to 2 projects:

− Critical Capabilities for Inclusive AI − Generative Authenticity

This position will be looking at Generative artificial intelligence which is a rapidly evolving field that focuses on developing techniques and models capable of generating new data, images, text, or other forms of content and enabling human-like machine interactions. This includes investigating novel algorithms and techniques, designing experiments, and evaluating the use of AI in domain contexts and the performance of generative models.

You will also undertake research, development, and proof of concept implementation of generative AI solutions for various applications with a focus on ethical responsibility, social value and inclusion. Also relevant to the role is an interest in the impact of generative AI on authenticity in relation to trustworthy news and online information and cybersecurity.

If you are passionate about advancing generative AI, driving innovation, and promoting inclusive AI practices, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects at ADM+S.
