It brings together the excellent work of medical and allied-health clinicians and researchers across the University and around the country, with unparalleled access to world- leading clinical resources and research facilities found only on our campus. Our Faculty hosts the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI), an internationally acclaimed powerhouse researching health systems, e-health and patient safety.

The Centre for Health Informatics (CHI) explores the application of novel digital technologies in healthcare and its implications for transforming models of care, driving system-wide change and delivering more personalised healthcare. The Centre leads a number of large-scale NHMRC projects in digital health and in 2018 established the Australian Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. As the longest-running digital health research centre in Australia, CHI is a research partner to major healthcare providers, research institutions and governments, and has national and international industry partnerships.
