Salary Information Department Summary
The Computer Science and Engineering department is home to 11 Professors, 11 Associate Professors, 13 Assistant Professors, 20 Clinical faculty, 5 Lecturers, over 150 Ph.D. students, over 1,500 master's students, and over 1,000 undergraduate students.
We offer a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, M.S. degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity and Data Engineering, ABET-accredited B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, an ABET-accredited B.A. degree in Information Technology, and a new B.S. degree in Cybersecurity. Position Summary
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas has several postdoctoral openings to work on multi-million dollar funded research. The general areas of interests are: machine learning, deep learning, spatial intelligence, mobile computing, and multi-agent robotic coordination. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team to work on cutting-edge research. The initial appointment is one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field. Strong publication record in relevant journals and conferences. Proficiency in software development skills in programming languages such as R and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior research experience in relevant areas is preferred. However, strong research experience in developing/applying deep learning/machine learning/computation methods on other domains/datasets will also be considered.
