Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Quantitative Finance (2 Posts)

Oxford-Man Institute, Eagle House, Walton Well Road, Oxford

We are seeking to appoint two full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistants in Quantitative Finance to join the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance (OMI) in central Oxford. The full-time positions are fixed-term for up to 3 years.

As Postdoctoral Researcher, you will conduct high-quality research in quantitative finance and will join the research team at the OMI. You will engage in original and objective research in quantitative finance, and you will lead our research effort in a specialist area of interest to the OMI.

You should hold a PhD (or be near completion) in one of the following: Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a closely related subject and have demonstrable specialist knowledge in the discipline and the ability to manage own academic research and associated activities. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings are also essential.
