The Visual Computing Group (https: // vcg.seas.harvard.edu/) in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University seeks motivated postdoctoral fellows with a Ph.D. in computer science/engineering or a related field to work on applied research projects in computer vision and deep learning.
The successful applicant will apply cutting edge computer vision and machine learning approaches (e.g., segmentation, object detection, tracking, image registration) to process and analyze image data. In addition to working closely with collaborators, industry partners, and graduate students on research projects, the candidate is expected to actively participate in writing grant proposals. Candidates should have a substantial publication history in top computer vision/machine learning venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.) and good teamwork and communication skills. Experience in deep learning and demonstrated capability to produce workable solutions from theoretical formulations is highly preferred. The position is available immediately, with guaranteed funding for two years. Please submit a cover letter, your CV, and at least three references.
Basic Qualifications
Ph.D. in computer science/engineering or a related field to work on applied research projects in computer vision and deep learning.
