announces a selection procedure

Job title: Postdoctoral fellow Scientific department: Cell Biology and Radiobiology (Assoc. Prof. Falk) Project:

GAČR 23-04769 Telomere biology of Trypanosomatids: contrasting features point to diverse strategies GAČR 23-06643S Disposition, distribution, and processing of DNA lesions in the genome of Arabidopsis thaliana plants defective in DNA repair and nucleosome assembly

Size of workload: 1 FTE Length of employment: till Dec 31st, 2024

Minimum educational attainment: Ph.D. in Genomics and Proteomics or a similar DSP (defended Ph.D. thesis) obtained in the last 4 years

Qualification level: V3 (R1) Professional requirements:

knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry methods. Experience with telomere analysis methods and telomerase activity;

research experience evidenced by a list of publications in quality international journals; publications relevant to the research issue are an advantage;

a high degree of independence in solving research tasks and prerequisites for teamwork.

Language requirements: Ability to actively communicate in English and Czech (necessary for communication with undergraduate students and their guidance) .
