With its broad and multidisciplinary faculty expertise, the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI) is an international resource that supports basic and clinical research in environmental health sciences and exposure assessment and fosters associated programs in environmental health education and public policy.
Established in 1986, EOHSI's major objectives are to: Advance understanding of the mechanisms by which environmental and occupational chemical exposures impact human health. Identify and measure human environmental and occupational exposures to chemicals. Treat populations adversely affected by chemical exposures. Develop educational tools describing relative risks of chemical exposures. Contribute to public policies related to environmental and occupational chemical risks. Offer training programs for environmental health professionals.
The Institute serves as an unbiased source of expertise about environmental problems for communities, employers and governments in all areas of occupational and environmental health, toxicology and risk assessment. EOHSI members are active as advisors to international, national, state and local organizations on public health issues.

Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Nanoscience and Advanced Materials Research Center (NAMC) within the Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH)/Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI). The Postdoctoral Fellow will be part of an interdisciplinary team of faculty and students and have access to state of the art equipment in the NAMC Center and immense resources for biomedical and toxicological research across Rutgers University. The NAMC Center has also an extensive active network of national and international research collaborators such as Harvard, MIT, UC Davis, Nanyang Technological University and others and offers tremendous networking opportunities to its post doctoral fellows and students. NAMC Center is part of the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Science (RBHS) community.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
