The Department of Physics is part of the AlbaNova University Center, which is a strong research center, and which, in addition to the Department of Physics, also houses the Department of Astronomy, the physics departments at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics, Nordita.

Project description The position is financed by grants awarded to Emil J. Bergholtz from the Swedish Research Council and the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.

Main responsibilities The position involves research in the theory of topological phases in collaboration with Emil J. Bergholtz and other researchers in Stockholm as well as with our collaborators elsewhere. A suitable background is a PhD in theoretical physics specializing in theoretical condensed matter physics, high energy physics or mathematical physics.

Qualification requirements Postdoctoral positions are appointed primarily for purposes of research. Applicants are expected to hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country.
