We have a 2-year full-time post-doctoral position at RCSI, suitable for a
psychologist, statistician, health services researcher or related discipline.
The successful candidate will be employed on an Irish Research Council funded
project exploring clinically important quantitative and qualitative
differences in depression trials. There are three main goals: 1) to apply
advanced psychometric analyses (e.g. factor analysis, network analysis and
item response theory techniques) to individual patient data from already-
published depression randomised trials; 2) to assist obtaining stakeholder
perceptions of the results, and 3) to assist with the establishment of an
interdisciplinary, international consortia to lead (EU Horizon or other)
funding applications. The position is based in the Department of Health
Psychology, RCSI, Dublin 2, but remote working will be considered.
