An NIH funded opening for a Postdoctoral Associate is available

immediately at Duke University, Durham, NC. This successful candidate will investigate gene therapy with AAV vectors for glycogen storage disease type III using human cellular and animal disease models. The applicant must have a PhD or equivalent in a life science-related discipline, with a strong laboratory research background and publication record. Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and preclinical animal studies is required; experience in relevant scientific areas including viral vectors, in vivo gene transfer, immunology, and histology is preferred. Ability to work independently, and strong writing, verbal and interpersonal skills are required.
