A Postdoctoral Research Associate position in medicinal chemistry is available
immediately in the laboratory of Professor L. Nathan Tumey at Binghamton
University. The position will focus on the development of novel chemical
linkers and immune-activating payloads for antibody-drug-conjugates (ADCs).
This work is supported by two recent R01 grants from the NIGMS. Additionally,
the Associate will participate in the design, preparation, and evaluation of
novel immune-stimulatory ADCs for the treatment of cancer. The initial
appointment is for one year and will be renewable for up to two additional
years. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assume a leading role in a
multidisciplinary team that includes a research technician, graduate students,
undergraduate students, and PharmD students. The work will involve a mixture
of organic synthesis, bioanalytical chemistry, protein characterization, and

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry or
related field. Experience with multi-step organic synthesis and various
analytical methods (HPLC, LCMS, NMR) is required. Experience with
