Postdoc Position

3 years, 100%

My SERI-funded ERC Starting Grant project on “Collective Guilt and Shame” (CoGS), hosted by the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Bern, is looking to recruit a postdoctoral fellow.

The ideal candidate will have research expertise in empirically engaged philosophy of emotion and be able and willing to undertake (among other things) a literature review of empirical work on collective guilt, shame, and pride. Research expertise in the social ontology of groups would also be an advantage. Event organisation and editorial experience are also desirable. The position comes with a generous salary, travel expenses, and funds for event organisation. The position requires completion of a PhD in philosophy (or a related field) at the start of employment.
