Offer Description

The position is related to the WEAVE-UNISONO project 2022/04/Y/ST5/00139 Entropy engineering and interface optimization in materials for highly effective thermoelectric energy conversion. The project will be carried out in collaboration with partners from DLR and UDE institutions in Germany.

The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for the synthesis and characterizing of new argyrodite-based materials, investigating structural and thermoelectric properties.

1) a doctoral degree in physical sciences, chemical sciences or materials engineering

2) not more than 7 years after PhD defense

3) a substantial scientific publication record

Specific Requirements

1) experience in chemical synthesis techniques of semiconducting materials

2) experience in using advanced methods for testing the chemical and structural properties of materials

3) experience in XRD, SEM , SPS techniques

4) experience in thermoelectric materials preparation and modeling of transport properties will be appreciated

Benefits

Employment for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years Anticipated salary: PLN 11,600 gross-brotherly per month.

2) not more than 7 years after PhD defense

3) a substantial scientific publication record

4) experience in chemical synthesis techniques of semiconducting materials,

5) experience in using advanced methods for characterization of chemical and structural properties of materials,

6) knowledge of English at the B2 level or higher
