We offer a dynamic, supportive and open research climate, where you are encouraged to think freely and explore your own ideas. This is the right place for you who want to grow from postdoc to PI.

Your mission

Constant changes in the global economy and new technology combined with a general weakening of trade unions and labour law have created the conditions for a variety of atypical employment arrangements such as gig, platform, freelancing etc. There are significant research challenges to evaluating the consequences of these employment arrangements that our research program aims to address.

You will work in an international consortium of top researchers from Sweden, Belgium, USA, Canada, Spain and Chile. We have collected quantitative and qualitative data in all countries during the pandemic and we need your help to publish the results. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, take courses, supervise students, develop your own line of research and apply for your own funding. The employment is temporary for two years with a possibility of extension.

Your profile

We think that you have a PhD in Public health, political economy, political studies, labor market studies, labor relations, labor law, sociology but we are open to PhD in other subjects.

Requirements: • Native English speaker with a passion for scientific writing. • Strong track-record of publishing as a first author while collaborating with other researchers • Project management skills

To be eligible for employment as a postdoctor a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be fulfilled at the latest at the time of the employment decision. It is considered as an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the last three years, if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier.
