Postdoctoral Researcher - Science-Policy Relations, 1 FTE, School of Geography, Archaeology, and Celtic Studies, 010475

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed-term, 2-year position as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the School of Geography, Archaeology, and Celtic Studies and the Ryan Institute at the University of Galway, Ireland.

This position is funded by Science Foundation Ireland and the research team is multi-national, facilitating trans-European cooperation through collaboration between Irish (University of Galway, Marine Institute of Ireland, Department of Foreign Affairs) and two leading European Institutions (Icelandic Arctic Cooperation Network and the Scottish Arctic Network). The term of the contract is for a period of 2 years from the day of appointment.

Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €44,346 - €56,764 per annum, (subject to the project's funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.

Start date: The position is available from 1st of September 2024
