YOUR TASKS
As a postdoctoral researcher you will be responsible for the development, optimization and validation of a method for high-precision Nd isotopic analysis of "critical raw materials" based on the use of multi-collector ICP mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS) in the framework of the Horizon Europe project MaDiTraCe. The method development involves both chromatographic isolation of the analyte element and the measurement protocol. Subsequently, the method developed will be applied to relevant real-life materials. Multi-element analysis with ICP mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and carrying through isotopic analysis of other elements based on a described protocol will also be part of the assignment. Finally, the assignment also includes a contribution to the administrative and logistical aspects related to the participation in the MaDiTraCe project and to internal and external reporting of the results obtained.
