About the research centre or Inria departmentThe Inria Université Côte d'Azur center counts 36 research teams as well as 7 support departments. The center's staff (about 500 people including 320 Inria employees) is made up of scientists of different nationalities (250 foreigners of 50 nationalities), engineers, technicians and administrative staff. 1/3 of the staff are civil servants, the others are contractual agents. The majority of the center's research teams are located in Sophia Antipolis and Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes. Four teams are based in Montpellier and two teams are hosted in Bologna in Italy and Athens. The Center is a founding member of Université Côte d'Azur and partner of the I-site MUSE supported by the University of Montpellier.

L' objectif est de développer des outils théoriques pour l'allocation des ressources distribuée (correspondant aux 6 premiers mois) et s'en servir pour la communication en 5G (durant les 6 mois suivants).

The dynamic admission to a queue as well as dynamic routing of arrivals to queues have been studied
under various given information patterns. In this work we extend these results to
the case of various agents with possibly different information available to each of these.
We formulate these as Baysian team and game problems. We derive an optimal
team solution and the equilibrium solution for the game. The postdoc will focus on
studying heterogeneous information such as different delays or noisy channel that are available
to different agents. Mixed equilibria will be introduced
in which some fixed fraction of the arrivals are competitive and thus behave as players in a
Wardrop equilibrium and a fixed fraction arrive as atomic players in a non- cooperative game.
This will be applied then to resource allocation problems and power control problems
in 5G wireless networks
Résumé
L'admission dynamique à une file d'attente ainsi que l'acheminement dynamique
des arrivées vers les files d'attente ont été étudiés
sous divers modèles d'information ont été bien étudiés dans le passé. Dans ce travail,
nous étendons ces résultats aux
cas de plusieurs agents avec des informations éventuellement différentes disponibles
pour chacun des agents. Nous les formulons sous forme de problèmes baysiens d'équipes et de jeux.
Dans ce travail nous obtiendrons les métodes de calcul des solutions
optimals d'équipe et d'équilibre pour le jeu. Le travail portera sur
des informations hétérogènes telles que différents retards ou canaux bruités disponibles
aux différents agents. Des équilibres mixtes seront introduits
dans laquelle une fraction fixe des arrivées sont compétitives
et une fraction fixe arrivent en tant que joueurs atomiques dans un jeu non coopératif.
Cela s'appliquera ensuite aux problèmes d'allocation de ressources et
aux problèmes de contrôle de puissancedans les réseaux sans fil 5G.
