Characterization of the structural flexibility of disordered regions contained
in proteins involved in a process of DNA repair by site-directed spin labeling

The “Bioénergétique et d'Ingénierie des Protéines » (BIP) laboratory is a
Joint Research Unit (UMR) co-supervised by AMU/CNRS. It is located on the
Joseph Aiguier campus and is part of the “Institut de Microbiologie de la
Méditerranée” (IMM). The BIP lab currently includes about 70 people: 20
researchers and 12 assistant and full professors, 9 engineers and technicians,
including 1 university engineer, 8 post-docs and 20 PhD students.
The recruited person will work under the responsibility of Pr. Valérie BELLE
(BIP) and in collaboration with Pascale Barbier (Institut de
Neurophysiopathologie, Marseille) for the functional assays and further
- Skills in EPR spectroscopy in continuous and pulsed mode
- Spin labeling of proteins will be appreciated
- Other spectroscopies for protein characterization will be appreciated
(UV/vis absorption, circular dichroism …)
- Fluent knowledge of English
