Perform research and technology development for noninvasive detection and prediction of cancer metastasis.

Regularly exercises technical discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project goals.

Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.

Publish research results in nationally recognized, peer reviewed journals.

May participate in external seminars and scientific conferences.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Research experiences in cancer, nanomaterials, and or optical imaging are preferred but not required.

Special Conditions

The department is especially interested in candidates who have research experience in cancer biology.
