Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in
Perovskite Optoelectronicsin the Department of Physics (Ref.:
511423), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility
of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials
Science or other relevant disciplines with comprehensive experience in
organic-inorganic halide perovskite materials and their characterization and
applications in optoelectronic devices. The appointee will conduct research in
halide perovskite materials synthesis and characterization for applications in
perovskite solar cell and LEDs. The main topic of research is about the
relationship between perovskite properties and its device performance
(efficiency and stability) for LED and flexible solar cell applications,
with the focus on high performance 3D/2D and quasi-2D perovskite materials.
He/She will work under the supervision of Professor Aleksandra Djurišić in
close collaboration with Dr. W.D. Li of the Department of Mechanical
Engineering for the flexible perovskite solar cells. Enquiries about the post
should be sent to Professor Aleksandra Djurišić at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current
rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
The University only accepts online application for the above post. Applicants
should apply online and upload an up-to-date C.V., with the name of two
referees and a cover letter, preferably with academic transcript(s) and a
publication list. Review of applications will commence as soon as possible and
continue until February 7, 2022 , or until the post is filled, whichever
