  • Within the development of a novel team « European Institute for Emerging Antibiotic Resistance « under the responsability of Prof Patrice Nordmann, you will work in deciphering novel emerging antibiotic resistance mechanisms in Gram negatives and developping novel tests for their rapid identification

    Tasks will be as follows:

    -Bacteriology :

  • Isolation and culture of clinically-significant bacterial species
  • Performing rapid and conventional susceptibility testing tests
  • -Molecular microbiology :

  • Extraction of nucleic acids
  • Clonings, PCR and sequencings
  • -Biochemistry :

  • Protein purification
  • Biochemical analysis of activity of resistance proteins
  • -Administration and results presentation

  • Quality controls
  • Stock controls, orders and invoices
  • Exploitation of results
  • Poster presentation and publications
  • Management of student

    Molecular Microbiology and biochemistry

    Publication experience

    English language

    Word, Excel et PowerPoint Knowledge in materials and dedicated softwares for interpreting experimental results


    Organized and being able to work independent

    Experienced of working in team


    Doctorate in Biology or similar

    Best , previous experience in a similar position
