The Opportunity
Our Development division is seeking to appoint a Planned Giving Manager who will play a crucial part in increasing the number of individuals choosing to leave a bequest to Monash University.
Working closely with our Planned Giving team and collaborating with Development colleagues, you'll build meaningful relationships with donors and prospects to secure planned gifts that support our university-wide priorities. Your contributions will involve developing and delivering acquisition strategies, supporting our fundraising and bequest initiatives, and enhancing stewardship opportunities for our valued supporters.
You'll also oversee and contribute to high-level project duties, actively collaborate with the Development team to identify new bequest and blended gift opportunities, and act as a subject matter expert in the field. Your role will involve research, data analysis, and providing guidance to team members to ensure best practices and excellence in fundraising.

About you
We're looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience and skills in fundraising, including strategic advice, project management, and consulting. Your success in implementing bespoke fundraising strategies and your excellent relationship management skills, combined with high-level research and problem- solving abilities, will make you a valuable addition to our team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment are all essential for success in this role.
