Based in the Professional Administrative Services team, this role supports the School of Education in establishing and maintaining relationships with over 800 schools to secure placement opportunities for students enrolled on Initial Teacher Training courses at the University of Worcester. This is a part-time post for a period of two years in the first instance.
The successful candidate will negotiate with our partner schools to increase the opportunities for placements for our students, as well as maintaining existing placements. The post holder will produce reports to highlight progress on placement sourcing and identify any trends or areas of focus for the department or School of Education. This role will provide data to the School of Education's Senior Leadership Team to support strategic decision making in relation to placements and ensuring an outstanding student experience for those studying programmes within the School.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate confident communication skills to maintain and develop strong working relationships with partner schools. You will be able to exercise sound judgement and deal with confidential information effectively and sensitively. This role will involve the preparation of reports and other correspondence, so strong Microsoft Office skills are essential - particularly in relation to Excel.
