Blood sampling, muscle sampling, determination of haematological,

biochemical and hormonal stress markers in blood and pH and glycogen in

sea bream muscle samples

Eligibility criteria

in order to apply for the proposal,

according to the Greek law, all your degrees must be recognized by

DOATAP (Hellenic NARIC), an organization supervised by the Hellenic

Ministry of Education. It is responsible for the recognition of

university or technological degrees that are awarded by foreign Higher

Education Institutions (H.E.I.).

The Hellenic NARIC is also responsible for providing information about

educational systems and accreditation of Institutions in Greece and abroad.

REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL

Biological sciences: Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Master in Environmental Biology or Aquaculture

Experience in stress assessment of farmed Mediterranean fish species

PhD candidate registered in the Department of Biology

Reference Letters

Knowledge of English language

Specific Requirements

Knowledge of fish care and breeding

Knowledge of techniques for determining hematological, biochemical and

hormonal indicators in blood or fish tissues

Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques (PCR, q-PCR, DNA

extraction from tissues)

Knowledge of methods of recording and analyzing fish behavior

Publications in scientific journals or presentations at scientific

conferences are particularly legitimate qualifications and will be

positively considered (Up to 3)
