    PhD-Student (f/m/d)

    As part of an Emmy Noether research group project, the part-time position (65%) will be available from March 2022 onwards for a period of three years with the option of extension. The University of Tübingen provides structured support to establish a successful career as an independent scientist.

    Our group focuses on the role of innate immune cells in organ injury after ischemia contributing to the pathophysiology of diseases such as acute kidney injury. Our overall research goal is to develop novel therapeutic strategies for critically ill. As part of the German Universities Excellence Initiative, the University of Tübingen offers a unique environment to achieve this goal.

    We are looking for a scientist who will investigate immune cell-cell interactions and sterile inflammation using a broad range of in vitro and in vivo models. The candidate should be experienced in cellular biology, mol- biol. techniques (DNA, RNA, protein analysis, flow cytometry, Immunohistochemistry etc.) and at best in animal studies.
