About the role
We are looking to appoint a PA to support our School Management Team. You will make a key contribution to the smooth functioning of the School of Digital, Technologies and Arts. As first point of contact for the School Management Team, you will proactively field and respond to enquiries on their behalf. The confidential and professional support you provide will range from managing commitments, diaries and meetings, to completing administrative tasks and organising travel itineraries.
You will have proven experience of providing executive support at a senior level and will be skilled in organising complex schedules, managing electronic diaries and preparing meetings. Since you will draft correspondence on behalf of the School Management Team, you must demonstrate a high standard of literacy in English. This will be matched by your computer literacy, including comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, excellent communication and relationship building skills will be as important as your highly developed organisational and problem-solving abilities.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised and efficient individual with strong interpersonal skills. The PA role supports our work across a large School and requires the ability to work at pace in a fast- moving environment; an ability to work collaboratively and at times across teams. The ability to manage your own workload to deliver multiple tasks is essential, as is attention to detail.
For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Beth Finley - [email protected], PA to Executive Dean
