The Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) ("VPTL") Office oversees the development of curriculum and academic programmes, quality assurance, pedagogical matters such as experiential learning and eLearning, student recruitment and placement, student affairs and internationalisation of teaching and learning.

Personal Assistant (PR0428/22-23)

The appointee will report directly to the VPTL and provide administrative support to him to ensure smooth daily operation of the Office, which includes:

• Organising and scheduling appointments; • Providing logistics support to meetings and committees; • Drafting correspondences and reports; • Handling enquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders; • Managing budget and accounts; and • Handling personnel related matters and performing other duties as assigned.


• A recognised degree with at least 5 years of relevant administrative/secretarial experience; • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); • High proficiency in computer skills, such as MS Office, Chinese and English word processing, and PowerPoint; • Good interpersonal and communication skills; and • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a writing test.
