We are seeking an ambitious People Relations Manager to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our plans for growth and development for Falmouth University and our partner organisation, Falmouth Exeter Plus.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of People and Culture, you will be responsible for leading a high quality and experience focused People Relations team that provides added value to internal customers, key stakeholders and the wider People and Culture team by providing timely and expert advice and support.
There will be a particular focus on leading strategically and operationally the full range of people relations activities, including investigation, disciplinary, capability and grievance processes, restructuring, TUPE, and other organisational change programmes.
You will ensure that complex cases are managed effectively end-to-end, coaching managers to access the right sources of support to remain compliant with employment law and internal policy along with ensuring cultural alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values.

The successful candidate will be passionate about people and culture, having worked at a senior level within a complex organisation with extensive experience in leading complex employee relations activities. Together with an ability to deliver other priority work packages and projects, within an unionised environment.
Importantly you will bring a high level of professionalism and tenacity, new ideas and challenge conventional thinking, be highly analytical with the ability to use data to identify themes and trends, and be able to translate concepts into workable best-fit solutions for the organisation.

An on-campus presence will be required for this role, however, we operate a hybrid flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work from home for part of the week.
