Texas A&M University - Texarkana is seeking to find an outstanding candidate
for the part-time Adjunct Instructor in Mass Communication for the Texarkana
Campus. We are taking applications for the Fall/Spring Semester.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism,
Communications, or a related content area. The candidate may also have a
master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mass Communication,
Journalism, Communications, or another content area approved by dean and
provost. Interested applicants must also possess knowledge and teaching
methodologies suitable to teaching diverse undergraduate populations in higher
education settings, including face-to-face or online.
Required to teach one or more undergraduate courses in Mass Communication
(including Intro to Mass Comm, Speech, production, design, advertising,
strategic communication, and/or advanced professional communication) in face-
to-face, web-enhanced, or web-based formats during an eight-week or sixteen-
week format. Must also coordinate all course administrative duties such as but
not limited to: grading student work, all course content such as assessments
and lectures, meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner to
students, meeting census and grade deadlines to registrar's office, and
meeting additional administrative duties as needed in respective course
