Elena Manresa (NYU Economics), Guillaume Pouliot (Chicago Harris), and
Tetsuya Kaji (Chicago Booth) are working on a project that applies neural
networks to structural estimation problems.
The main task will be to carry out simulation and empirical analysis.
Simulation is on a Roy model and empirical analysis will be based on
evaluation of Madicaid using HRS data. It will require programming in Python
and R using tensorflow.
Bachelor's degree in Economics or Math with major course work in econometrics.
Proficiency in R and Python are a must.
