Position Description

The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville is seeking part-time faculty members (non-tenure) track to teach:

  • Introductory courses in criminal justice, law enforcement & corrections
  • CJ 306 Criminal Procedure and CJ 395 Criminal Law & Evidence and CJ 625 Legal Aspects CJ Management
  • Undergraduate Criminal Justice Electives - based on education and experience
  • Graduate Criminal Justice Electives - based on education and experience, focused on victimology and experience working with victims of sexual assault
  • The Department of Criminal Justices offers Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Criminal Justice, and includes the Southern Police Institute. A Ph.D. is preferred and experience in college teaching (in the courses listed above) is required.
