Primary Purpose and Essential Functions
The Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific invites
applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position as an adjunct
instructor in the Department of Pharmaceutics & Medicinal Chemistry to assist
with instruction in our Jie Du Center Courses.
Attending each scheduled class
Leading class sessions on specified topics in Entrepreneurship, marketing,
regulatory Sciences, clinical pharmacology pertinent to drug development
Leading small group sessions
Tutoring during office hours
A PhD or MBA degree and at least 10 years of practical experience in the
drug development related field is required
Prior experience with drug development in the specified areas and some
evidence of scholarship may be required
Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities
Annual HIPAA training
Annual sexual harassment prevention training
Criminal background check
Livescan fingerprinting as required
