The Graduate School of Education, Rutgers University invites applications for
Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the Educational Theory,
Policy and Administration during the Spring 2022 semester, January 18, 2022
through May 11, 2022 .
Successful Applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level courses in
educational foundations, educational policy, educational administration,
and/or educational finance.
Specific courses might include history of education, philosophy of education,
gender in education, race, ethnicity and inequality, urban education,
sociology of education, public school finance, policy analysis, organizational
theory and queer issues in schools, among others.
Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings,
including hybrid and online formats. Course appointments are in the New
Brunswick area, as well as, hybrid/online format.

Applicants with other degrees from an accredited institution will be
considered. Some prior teaching experience is also preferred.

Instructors are expected to attend orientation, submit syllabus, respond to
student emails and submit grades as per contract.
